One more Warm Day
Well over half a dozen high temperature records were set in Alberta Tuesday, and Wednesday will be almost as warm. The day will start out with sunshine. The upper ridge which has contributed to our warm weather will begin to collapse, and that will allow a cold front to come in from the northwest. The front won't arrive until late in the day, so there will be plenty of opportunity for temperatures to climb to the mid twenties. When the front comes through, it will be windy at first, and then rain will follow later in the evening. Thursday and Friday will be rainy and cold. Campers headed to the foothills and mountains for the long weekend may awaken to snow on the ground Friday and Saturday mornings. Snow can't be ruled out for the Calgary area, either.
Tuesday night: Mainly clear, low 9
Wednesday: Mainly sunny, high 24
Thursday: Increasing cloud, chance of showers, high 12
Friday: Periods of rain, high 4
Saturday: Showers ending, clearing, high 9
Sunday: Partly cloudy, high 16
