The murder of Victoria realtor Lindsay Buziak remains unsolved after four years.

Buziak's father Jeff, who lives in Calgary, has taken matters into his own hands.

Jeff Buziak is offering one of the largest rewards for information in Canadian history, $500,000 and the ability to relocate, for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Lindsay's killer.

The 24-year-old woman was brutally stabbed in a Saanich, British Columbia home she thought she was showing to prospective buyers.

The police investigation has stalled.

"If we can provide them an opportunity to come forward with their information and set them up so they can go on with their lives, possibly in a different location, under a different identity, we're willing to work with that," says Jeff Buziak.

Police have distanced themselves from the private reward and have suggested Buziak may be putting himself at risk.

Since issuing his offer, Buziak says he's received about 20 emails a day from strangers he would consider leads. Buziak is passing all information along to police.
