The Chief Medical Examiner has released the identity of a man who was the victim of a fatal shooting on the weekend.
Police were called to a report of a possible break and enter in the 100 block of Erin Circle S.E., at about 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Several people were in the home when officers arrived and police discovered the body of a man while they were removing the people from the house.
An autopsy was conducted on Monday and confirmed that the deceased died as a result of a gunshot wound.
The man has been identified as Joseph Lesley Talbot , 35, of Calgary.
Police are treating the death as a homicide and say the incident is not random.
Three people were brought in for questioning and have since been released.
The investigation continues and so far no charges have been laid.
