GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta. - A 21-year-old man facing 11 charges in the deaths of four Alberta boys aged 15 and 16 is due to appear in a Grande Prairie court today.

Walter Borden-Wilkins, Tanner Hildebrand, Matthew Deller and Vince Stover died on Oct. 22 when the vehicle they were in crashed with a pickup truck.

The charges against Brenden Holubowich include impaired driving causing death and failure to remain at the scene.

Private funeral services for the teens were held last week, but their families gathered with the community Sunday for an emotional public memorial.

Grande Prairie Mayor Bill Given told the service he was amazed by the amount of support shown to his community from across North America.

The families of the four boys said the support from many people across the country and beyond has helped them cope with the tragic loss.

A fifth teen was severely injured in the crash and he remains in an Edmonton hospital.
