Police have released the identity of a man killed in a violent home invasion.
Cuong Viet Doan, 53, of Calgary died in hospital after he was attacked in his home.
A female, in her 50's, remains in hospital in life-threatening condition.
Police were called to a home in the 1000 block of Marcombe Dr. N.E. around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
When they arrived they found three injured people in the residence and transported them all to hospital.
The third person, a man in his 20's, was treated for minor injuries and was released.
Investigators say they believe this was a targeted home invasion robbery.
Police are asking the public for help to identify two male suspects who were wearing dark clothing at the time of the attacks.
