Skye Wattie is biking across Canada to raise awareness for people with limited or no speech.

Wattie was inspired by his older brother Kerr, who communicates with a device and by blinking his eyes.

He hopes his Kilometres for Communication campaign will raise $100,000 to help provide support, services, and devices for people who cannot speak.

"There are all sorts of attitudes that people have just because they're not educated people without speech, and they don't know how these people communicate," he says.

Currently, there are about 375,000 Canadians with little or no speech.
