RCMP were at the scene of a serious rollover on the QEII Highway on Friday morning.
The Airdrie Integrated Traffic Unit responded to several complaints of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 2.
Police say initial reports show that a truck was involved with one occupant inside.
RCMP say the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The north and southbound lanes of Highway 2 were reduced to one lane at the Didsbury Overpass (Hwy 582) for several hours.
