Representatives of Canada's First Nations community marched downtown on Wednesday in front of Enbridge's headquarters to protest the company's Northern Gateway Pipeline project.

The project involves a new twin pipeline system running from near Edmonton to a new marine terminal in Kitimat, British Columbia.

The protest is taking place at the same time as Enbridge's Annual General Meeting.

Six of the protestors hope to be able to participate in the question and answer session.

They plan to challenge the company's claim that all issues involving First Nations along the pipeline route have been resolved.
