A man whose body was found near Okotoks last Friday has been positively identified.
An autopsy, completed by the Calgary Medical Examiner's Office, has determined that the body was that of Calgary man Orphee Rudy Landa Na-Asaba, 26.
They have also confirmed that Landa was murdered.
The actual cause of death will not be released at this time.
On Friday, police located a body in the ditch along 242 Ave. just west of 80th St., near Okotoks around 8:25 a.m.
The RCMP have spoken to the last person seen with the victim, a male individual, but no charges have been laid and the investigation is continuing.
The public is asked for their ongoing help in order to locate the 2000 green Chevrolet Impala which the victim was last seen.
