The leader of the Alberta Liberals is reiterating the need for a public inquiry into Alberta's health care system.
David Swann demanded Friday that the province look at more than emergency room and lung cancer care.
The Alberta Liberals have set up a phone number 1-888-886-2834 and a Facebook group "Support Health Professionals - Alberta Needs a Health Care Public Inquiry."
They are for any professionals or patients who feel threatened or silenced by the Stelmach government.
Swann says in the past 48 hours, they've received 100 calls and 10 percent of them are from health care professionals.
"We've had a doctor a day come forward and say there are problems with threats and intimidation and lack of responsiveness to their concerns about what's happening in our health care system," Swann said.
Friends of Medicare plans to join the call for a public inquiry.
Members plan to rally on the steps of the legislature Saturday afternoon.
