The brother of a man murdered in his Calgary home on Tuesday says he begged him not to go to Canada.

Joel Zalsos, 36, was killed in his house in the 1100 block of 18 Ave. N.W, but police won't say how.

His wife, Bing found his body.

She was working as a nanny two houses away.

The couple is originally from the Philippines and Joel had joined her in Calgary just a month ago.

Joel's brother says he was struggling with personal problems.

Police are looking into every aspect of his life, including everyone who had contact with him.

He was living with five other people in the home where he was murdered. All are women working as nannies, along with their husbands.

Joel's body will be released to his family next Friday.

His would like to bring Joel home to be buried alongside their parents, but he says he can't afford the $15-thousand it will cost to transport the body.
