A Calgary police officer who admitted to online luring has been sentenced to a three month conditional sentence.

He'll be under house arrest and won't be allowed to have a home computer.

He will also be registered sex offender for 10 years.

Constable Randann Sargent pleaded guilty in May.

He admitted to using the internet to lure a girl he thought was 17, into sending him photos of herself in her underwear.

She was really an undercover officer.

Police began investigating Sargent when naked photos of him were found on a 15-year old girl's computer.

But Sargent has always insisted he was entrapped.
