Police have a concrete case against a truck thief.
A cement truck was stolen in Strathmore Monday night and ended up in Calgary.
The truck was involved in a hit and run at 52 Street and 54 Avenue S.E. around 8:00 p.m.
Police received reports of sightings of the vehicle but it managed to elude them for a couple of hours.
The truck eventually drove through a residential yard near 162nd and Shawinigan Drive S.W. and was abandoned nearby in an alley.
There were no injuries in this incident.
Charges are pending against a man.
