A serious crash has sent a cyclist to hospital in life-threatening condition.
It happened at around 5:20 p.m. Monday.
A 52-year-old woman on a bike collided with a vehicle at the intersection of 11th Avenue and 11th Street SW.
Police say the woman is suffering from critical head injuries.
She was rushed to the Foothills hospital.
Police say the woman was riding southbound when she was hit by a westbound car.
Traffic in the area had to be rerouted for several hours as the CPS Traffic Unit investigated.
