A Calgary man is hoping his new app for the iPhone is a winner with fans at the Olympics.

Terry Stasiuk has developed a program that helps people cheer on their home country.

It is called iCheer! and users can select their home country's flag, pick a type of cheer to go with it, then shake the phone to play the sound.

As with all iPhone applications uploaded to the Apple iTunes store, Stasiuk splits the profits with the company.

The application costs 99 cents.

You can find it by searching iCheer - Country on iTunes or clicking on the attached web link.
