RCMP are investigating a grisly discovery near Chestermere.
A body was discovered in a burning vehicle early Monday morning.
The blaze was reported shortly after 5:15 a.m. on Range Road 285 near Township 240.
When firefighters with the Chestermere Fire Department put the fire out, they discovered a body inside.
Investigators with RCMP Major Crimes and Forensic Identification are gathering evidence from the scene.
The death is being considered suspicious until the exact cause of death has been determined.
The name of the victim has not been released.
