The Riders arrived at the Calgary International Airport on Tuesday afternoon and fans were ready with banners and cameras.
The team was greeted by a band from Bishop Grandin High School and a fan fare of green clad Roughrider faithful.
Quarterback, Darian Durant, was the first one into the terminal and says he can't wait for the big game.
"This is great, this is what the Grey Cup is all about," said Durant, "we worked hard to get here."
The team says that next to Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Calgary is their favorite city to play in.
Most of the fans are from Saskatchewan but are now living in Calgary and they are stoked for Sunday's game.
I'm from Saskatchewan originally," said Carla Harbaruk, "you can take the girl out of the farm but you can't take the Rider out of the girl."
The Montréal Alouettes are set to arrive in Calgary about 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
