November's beautiful balmy weather is proving to be a benefit to many and city road crews are taking advantage of the warm spell to push ahead with road maintenance.
Officials say they're taking the opportunity to work on potholes and catch up on other work in residential areas.
Farmers in Alberta are also welcoming the dry spell as it has helped producers from across the province to finish bringing in their harvests.
Cattle are still grazing in pastures and that means that ranchers save money by not having to pay high prices and supplement food for their herds.
"Especially with cattle prices the way they are, break even or less, any way we can save some money is a way to make money," said Roy Newman, "it's whoever has the least cost in this game that wins right now."
CTV Calgary's Skywatch Weather Expert, Steve Rothfels, says Calgary could see warmer than usual weather straight into next year.
