Officials at Alberta Health and Wellness were unable to confirm the report late Tuesday afternoon.

The province is currently reporting six deaths in Alberta but says a gap in reporting may be responsible for the inconsistency.

The number of deaths associated with H1N1 in Canada now stands at 66.
