A third suspect has now been charged in connection with the New Year's Day gang shooting that killed three people at the Bolsa Restaurant on Macleod Trail South.

Twenty-three year old Nathan Zuccherato has been charged with three counts of first degree murder along with Real Honorio and Michael Roberto, who were arrested last week.

Sanjeev Mann, a known gang member, Aaron Bendle, who police call an associate of Mann's, and Keni Su'a, an innocent bystander, were all shot and killed at the restaurant.

According to his father, Nathan Zuccherato, turned himself in to police Tuesday morning. Calgary Police now confirm that.

"My son basically went down with his lawyer this morning to turn himself in because he knew there was going to be a warrant out for his arrest. He was aware that he was a suspect," says Len Zuccherato, Nathan's father.

Zuccherato was injured in a gang shooting in Chinatown in November 2008.

"I love my son, I believe in his innocence. It doesn't matter what my son has done, I love him with my whole heart and I will stand by him no matter what," says Len Zuccherato.

Anyone with information about the killings is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
