Alberta Health says there are now 49 confirmed cases of H1N1 influenza in our province.

On Sunday, three new cases have been reported.

One man from central Alberta has it as well as two women from the Edmonton area.

They are all showing mild symptoms.

Health officials are still trying to determine if the man and one of the women had travelled to Mexico.

The second woman had not travelled there.

There are 17 confirmed cases of H1N1 in Calgary.

Last week a northern Alberta woman in her thirties became Canada's first H1N1 flu related death.
