Nine people managed to escape harm after the roof of an indoor golfing facility in northeast Calgary collapsed Sunday afternoon.

The domed roof of the Eaglequest Dome located at 999 23rd Avenue NE came crashing down just after 1:30 p.m. Nine people were inside at the time, including three staff members, but they were able to get out before the roof fully collapsed.

The initial investigation suggests the dome, which is supported by forced air pressure, may have caved in as a result of all the heavy, wet snow.
